Lesley-Ann Brandt was born Cape Town, South African on the 2nd of December, 1981. Model and actress popular for her work on television and in film. Her acting career began with The New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity Brandt's American debut was with her first role as Naevia in the drama of the same name, Spartacus: Blood and Sand. The actress was a part of many television series during the past 10 years which included Spartacus: Gods of the Arena CSI: NY Single Ladies The Librarians. Brandt is currently acting as Mazikeen, a character in Tom Ellis Lauren German Kevin Alejandro's urban-fantasy Lucifer. Brandt was born in Cape Town South Africa, and moved with her family to Auckland New Zealand in late teenage years. Brandt began modeling in commercials on TV and in print. She worked in sales, as well as consultant for the field of information technology. She then became famous as a fashion designer. The first time she was featured, she landed her appearance in 2009's New Zealand sitcom Diplomatic Immunity in which she played the character of Leilani Fa'auigaese. Her debut appearance on the big screen came in 2021. She took on the role of a slavegirl Naevia on the Starz series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Her role as Naevia was reprised on the Spartacus sequel, Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Craig Parker was her co-star on three different TV shows, including Diplomatic Immunity (2009), Spartacus (2010), and Legend of the Seeker (2008). In 2016, she was cast as a bounty-hunting demon named Mazikeen in the Netflix famous show Lucifer. Her biggest role is this one. She co-stars in the show alongside Tom Ellis Lauren Germany Kevin Alejandro along with D. B. Woodside.

She has been a renowned TV host with a number of acclaimed programs. Broadcaster veteran with more than two decades of experience covering about the economy and business, she was instrumental in aiding CNBC to become one of the most popular channels for business and economics. Her remarkable career as a journalist can be said to suggest that the female was always destined to work in this particular field. But as a teenager, Maria was confused as to which path she should take. In one day, she wanted to be a singer but the next day she wanted to become an interior designer. After she learned about how much excitement and fun journalism offers, there was no stopping her. This edgy woman isn't only a great journalist, but it is also an inspirational figure for women who are aspiring to make it big in a male dominant world. The award was given to her as one of the fifty Faces that Shaped the Decade she was also the first ever female journalist to be inducted into the Cable Hall of Fame. She is also an author and journalist.
